Mount Vernon

Grandma and Grandpa Atkinson and Aunt Micah came to town for a weekend of fun. We started off with a very nice graduation dinner at a restaurant in Old Town, Alexandria right on the water. Thanks to Micah for babysitting so we could have a dinner "kid free". (:

The next day we went to one of my favorite places in the area, George Washington's estate. Mt. Vernon.

There is a great interactive kids section.

The grounds are beautiful that you walk around right on the Potomac River.

Benson loved running around and seeing cows and sheep.

Grandma's Farm

I took the kids back to Grandma and Grandpa Atkinson's for a surprise visit when Auntie Ali went home. Then they kept the kids for a few days. Here are some pictures from there time on "the farm."

Easter

The kids had an Easter egg hunt at church (indoors because of rain).

They weren't very photogenic that morning.

The Easter Bunny brought Benson, Reagan, and Auntie Ali baskets.

Reagan was very frustrated that she couldn't open her candy. (The only thing she was interested in that was in her basket.)

Benson and Ali both got water guns in their baskets.

Reagan loved the bubbles after she ate all her candy.

Carnival

Easter weekend Auntie Ali came for a visit and we went to the local carnival to celebrate.
